Virtual Climate Change course on Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 8:30 – 4:30

The Pacific Region will be holding a Virtual Climate Change course on Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 8:30 – 4:30.

The deadline for registration is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022.

Locals, please ensure any applications you receive are in by that date, any application received after the deadline will not be considered.

This is a 1-day interactive virtual climate course. It looks at the impact of climate change, how it can be mitigated, climate change communication, the climate movement, good solutions and a bit on CUPW’s Delivering Community Power, among other things. This course is interactive, engaging and well-documented.

The course will be facilitated by 350.org.

General Information:

You will need to have the latest version of Zoom on your device. Participation via computer is preferred but not mandatory. Please ensure that you have a working camera and microphone on your device. We would like participants to be on camera during the course.

Locals are responsible for lost wages of participants.

To be considered all applications must be signed and submitted by the Local President or their designate. Once the Local signs applications, the Local must submit all signed and completed applications directly to Regional Office.
