Hello Adriane,
I am writing on behalf of the more than 7,500 CUPW members in the Pacific Region, to show our support and solidarity with the members of the BC Nurses Union during your current labour dispute with the Health Employers Association of BC.
CUPW supports the right to free and fair collective bargaining and the right to strike.
We stand with your members as they fight for safer working conditions, proper staffing levels and real solutions to the challenges they face trying to provide patient care in a broken healthcare system.
We support nurses and the care they provide to the people of British Columbia.
We will encourage our members to join you on the picket line and send letters to their MLAs.
An injury to one is an injury to all.
