ANNUAL YOUNG WORKER RETREAT - JUNE 10 TO 12, 2011

Please find the attached document from the B. C. Federation of Labour reminding us of this function.

The Pacific Region will again be requesting funding to send up to 10 young workers to this retreat. As in the past, we will be paying registrations and travel costs. We are asking that Locals pay lost wages and per diem.

Please forward names of interested young workers that your Local would be prepared to send to the regional office. A young worker is someone under the age of 30.

It is important that we continue to involve young workers in our union and we are working with the B.C. Federation of Labour to this effect.

We need to involve more young workers from our union to work within the labour movement and the community.
